With the 2015 NFL Draft 19 days away, every day brings more rumors and speculation about Marcus Mariota. Today, maybe it is time to look at a team that makes perfect sense to trade with, but no one is talking about: the St. Louis Rams.
Here is a string of tweets from SBNation's own Dan Kadar, on why the St. Louis Rams are a low key team to consider trading up:

If all of that is true, why wouldn't the Rams be the prefect team to trade up to the Titans second overall pick.
First of all, according to Dan Kadar, the Rams are interested in drafting a quarterback and they can't legitamately think that Nick Foles is the long term answer in St. Louis. If he was going to be great, he would have done it with an offensive minded coach in Chip Kelly, rather than a defensive minded coach in Jeff Fisher.
Secondly, Jeff Fisher is always keeping an eye on the Titans roster. Seemingly every free agency period he plucks on player out of the Titans reject pile and adds them to the depth chart. Knowing what the depth chart looks like (and assuming he still has several friends in the media and in the team's front office) he should know exactly where the Titans are weak to make the perfect pitch to them. This isn't really a huge part of why this deal could happen, but it is something to consider.
Finally and most importantly, the Rams are coming off of back-to-back years with two first round draft picks and have loaded that roster (at least defensively). This team is really one quarterback away from being very competitive, and with solid depth thanks to the huge deal they made with the Washington Redskins, now is the perfect time for them to make a move up to the second overall pick.
Whether the Titans want to trade down is irrelevant to this post, the point is with more offers coming in every day (at least publicly) it is safe to assume that if the Titans stick with the second overall pick it is because they love the prospect they draft there. However, if they do trade down the Rams at pick at number 10 would be the perfect place to draft someone like Kevin White or Amari Cooper if they slide (because they won't make it past the Minnesota Vikings at 11) or one of these talented edge rushers.
