Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports is reporting that the Titans have shown interest in former Philadelphia Eagles QB Mark Sanchez:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Titans are showing decent interest in Mark Sanchez, sources say. A return to Philly remains a possibility. We'll see how this plays out.</p>— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) <a href="https://twitter.com/MikeGarafolo/status/574677923111829504">March 8, 2015</a></blockquote>

Sanchez is not going to lead a team to the Super Bowl. He really isn't that good, but the Titans need to bring in someone that can compete with Zach Mettenberger and/or be a decent back-up. Charlie Whitehurst is not that guy. Sanchez can be.
Some people might take adding Sanchez, if it did happen, as an indication that the Titans wouldn't take a QB with the 2nd pick. That might not, but this move would not keep them from doing it if they were so inclined. They would probably sign Sanchez to a team-friendly deal that wouldn't cost anything if they cut him before the season started.
