Jason Cole, grain of salt, is reporting that a deal between the Jacksonville Jaguars and former Broncos TE Julius Thomas is "just about done:"

This would be a big move from the Jaguars. Thomas has been a stud for the Denver Broncos the last two seasons. He had more than 1,200 yards and 24 touchdowns in the last two seasons. Of course that was with Peyton Manning throwing him the football. The jury is still out on Blake Bortles, but he's no Peyton Manning.
Either way, this would be a big move for the Jaguars. Keep in mind though that no contract can be signed until Tuesday. There is still a lot of time for other teams to get involved. While I don't think Thomas is on the same level as a Rob Gronkowski or Jimmy Graham, he would still be an upgrade for the Jaguars.
Meanwhile, the Titans locked up their punter.
