Jim Wyatt is reporting that the Tennessee Titans will put Jameis Winston through a private workout at Florida State's Pro Day tomorrow. Wyatt also says that Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt and general manager Ruston Webster are scheduled to attend the Pro Day- just like they did at Oregon for Marcus Mariota. Of course this all probably a moot point because the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to take Winston with the first pick.
It makes sense for the Titans to get as much information on both guys as they can. Winston is a better fit for Whiz's system, and you never know what could happen at the top of the draft. There is always the possibility that the Bucs could take Mariota, or even trade out with a team that loves Mariota. Then the Titans would be on the clock with the chance to take Jameis. They need all of the information they can get.
Of course there are the off the field concerns with Winston, and that is something the Titans would have to weigh if they were faced with his name on the board.
