Vic Beasley, EDGE, Clemson

From TitanMA:

Vic Beasley is the best non-quarterback in the draft in my opinion. I’ve watched 14 full games of Beasley play for Clemson, plus what I saw on Saturdays. The one thing that stood out every time I watched #3 is that he never loses one on ones. He either shreds the block or puts his blocker on the ground seemingly every time. No one denies that he is a great speed rusher off the edge with top upper body strength to move men on contact, but the media hate on Beasley has been his work against the run. Beasley looked mediocre playing the middle gaps until his senior season, when he drastically improved. The Raiders are developing long term and can select players at any spot but quarterback. Beasley will start out playing as an aggressive two down SAM linebacker (think Von Miller), while the Raiders will move Mack to MLB, the position he played in college. Once Beasley shows he’s stout in the run game and can keep on the weight that lead to his great combine performance, the Raiders will probably convert him to the position where he is most deadly, 4-3 RE. (paragraph break) I didn’t know who to choose for this spot, so I asked Raiders fans who they wanted in a fanpost at Silverandblackpride. While Leonard Williams won the poll, the rest of the votes were split between Amari Cooper, Kevin White, and Vic Beasley. I’m confident that the Raiders can draft a great wide receiver later, while an elite pass rusher like Beasley cannot be found anywhere else.

The Washington Redskins and steelxl are now on the clock.
