With no new news coming out this weekend on where the Titans are looking to replace Tommie Smith, here are a look at some of the names of interest. Jason La Canfora (who seems to know more than anyone about this) has shed some light on the top candidates to take over this team.

While both Tepper and Smith are strong candidates to become the new owners, but it should be noted that La Canfora has also said many times that he could see the Haslam family making an attempt to buy the Titans at some point in the future. With the Haslam's owning the Cleveland Browns, there would clearly have to be some moves made from that standpoint.
Most agree that while Smith didn't have a large sample size, his short time at the top made fans want a chance. Having an owner who is being pulled in multiple directions and someone who has a strong desire to turn this brand around, should be great for this team that looks completely different (top to bottom) than they did just a half of a decade ago.
