Bernard Pollard move probably won't hit the waiver wire until later. But he's been informed by the #Titans he's being released, per sources

The Titans released veteran strong safety Bernard Pollard today, pending a physical. The opinionated hard-hitting safety had made it known that he was unhappy in Nashville after the team fired front office executive Lake Dawson, claiming that they fired the wrong person. Following this, he asked to be released. Less than a month later, the team met his demands.
The move leaves another hole in the Titans lineup, but one they expect young talent Daimion Stafford to fill. It frees up another $3.1 million for Tennessee to possibly utilize. More than anything, Pollard was a vocal leader who gave the defense an edge, but he had his limits as a pass defender, and missed time last season, ending the year on IR with a ruptured achilles.
Nashville it's been so much fun. Thank you to all the fans and people I've been blessed meet. Great city, fans and food! #31 is out ✌️...
