Jacoby Jones to visit the Titans

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Jim Wyatt is reporting that the Titans are bringing in Jacoby Jones for a visit.  Jones is not much of a receiver, but he is a very good kick returner.  He would be an upgrade over Leon Washington.  In fact, signing Jones would mean there was no spot on the roster for Washington, and if Washington isn't on the roster, Ken Whisenhunt cannot put him in to play running back.

So it sounds like signing Jones might be the best thing the Titans could do this offseason.  #sarcasm #kindof

In all seriousness, the Titans receiving corps is bad enough that Jones would be in the mix to be the #3 right now.  That is a real problem.

If the Titans do sign Jones, they will also need to bring Ray Lewis to town, hide yo kids hide yo wives, to lay his hands on Jones, because you know that is what Lewis did before Jones returned a kickoff for a touchdown against the 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII.  OK, that is enough sarcasm for one post.
