Ian Rapoport is reporting that Justin Blalock visited the Tennessee Titans. It would be nice for the Titans to add depth along the offensive line, and hey, maybe a starter at right tackle. Blalock was drafted by the Falcons in the second round back in 2007.
Maybe Michael Griffin could help with this recruitment as well. Blalock played with Griffin and Brain Orakpo at the University of Texas.
Pro Football Focus has Blalock graded positively in each of the last 5 seasons. He could be a guy who could come in here and push Andy Levitre for his job. The Titans haven't necessarily needed to cut Levitre because they had plenty of cap room, but it would be nice for them to be in a position where they could- maybe even after next season.
Blalock is 31 years old, but he probably has a few good years left in him. The Titans shouldn't do a contract with him any longer than 3 years, but he is a guy that has some value in the short-term.
