Tennessee Titans sign CB Perrish Cox

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network is reporting that the Tennessee Titans have signed CB Perrish Cox.  The Titans have added a lot of quality players on defense during this free agency period.  They didn't make any huge splashes, but their defense is definitely better today that it was on Thursday.

Cox played in San Francisco last year.  He was drafted in the 4th round by the Denver Broncos back in 2010.  Right now, he has to be the favorite to start at corner opposite Jason McCourty.

The secondary of McCourty, Cox, Michael Griffin and Da'Norris Searcy is a clear upgrade over what they ran out there last year- especially at the end of the year.
