Jim Wyatt reported on Twitter that Derrick Morgan will visit the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. What do those two teams have in common (besides being the NFC South)? They both run a 4-3. People have been all up in arms about the Titans "letting Derrick Morgan walk," but I have said all along that there is a good chance that he prefers to play 4-3 end instead of 3-4 OLB. He has played end all of his life.
Now the Titans could throw way too much money at him to get him to stay, because money is always the deciding factor in the end, but that wouldn't be a smart, long-term move on their part. There have been multiple reports that they are still trying to work something out with Morgan, but at the end of the day there has to be mutual interest in getting something done.
Now this doesn't mean that Morgan will sign with either of those teams, but it gives you an indication of what he is thinking.
