Titans Free Agency Notes: Anthony Fasano, Harry Douglas, Brian Orakpo

New, comments
Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

Free agency officially opens at 3 PM this afternoon.  While a lot of other teams have been announcing deals, the Titans have remained quiet and agreed to play by the rules.  That doesn't mean they aren't working within the rules to get some things done.  Here are a few notes from overnight:

Jim Wyatt reported that the Titans will have Anthony Fasano in for a visit today:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Veteran TE Anthony Fasano is scheduled to visit the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Titans?src=hash">#Titans</a> on Tuesday, per sources. Has 253 career catches. Most recently with <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Chiefs?src=hash">#Chiefs</a></p>&mdash; Jim Wyatt (@jwyattsports) <a href="https://twitter.com/jwyattsports/status/575115404932161537">March 10, 2015</a></blockquote>

Fasano was most recently with the Chiefs.

Wyatt also reported last night that the Titans are still in the mix for former Atlanta Falcons receiver Harry Douglas who visited the team last week.

Cary Williams agreed to terms with the Seattle Seahawks last night.  I can't really say that I am surprised to see a guy who is at the end of his career chose Seattle over Tennessee.  That is what happens when your team isn't very good.

Wyatt also says the Titans are in the mix for Brian Orakpo and Jason Worldis.  I would put the chances that they sign Worldis at about 120%.

This morning on The Wake Up Zone, Mark Howard was speculating that the Titans will be in the mix for Green Bay Packers OT Bryan Bulaga and Cleveland Browns CB Buster Skrine.

Stay tuned.
