Adam Caplan is reporting that James Casey, who was recently released by the Philadelphia Eagles, will visit the Tennessee Titans.

Jim Wyatt later confirmed the news on Twitter.
Mike Kaye of Bleeding Green Nation, the SB Nation Eagles blog, wrote about Casey when he was released here. I asked Brandon Lee Gowton of BGN about Casey, and here is what he had to say:
In a nutshell, really good special teams guy that couldn’t really get on the field on offense because he was stuck behind Brent Celek and Zach Ertz. Good blocker, hard worker. Not a bad second TE to have.
The Titans do have Craig Stevens and Taylor Thompson under contract for 2015, but they both missed most of 2014 with injuries. There is no way of knowing how they will bounce back, and neither one of them have exactly lit the world on fire. Casey would be a good guy to bring some competition to camp.
