Matt Miller of Bleacher Report has put out a 3-round mock draft. Now, before you go into the "BR didn't read" stuff, Miller does his homework on draft stuff. He's no Terry Lambert, but he does a good job. File that away so I don't have to type it every time I link to Miller between now and April.
Yesterday Miller posted a new 3 round mock. He had the Titans taking Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss with the second pick overall. Tunsil seems to be this year's "can't miss" offensive lineman. I know the Titans need to protect Marcus Mariota, but I really hope they are able to find guys that can play on the offensive line without using a high pick on them. They have so many other needs.
Here are Miller's comments on Tunsil:
The Tennessee Titans may be the team most likely to trade out of their first-round pick if they can get a buyer who wants to trade up for a quarterback. In a mock draft without swaps, though, drafting an offensive tackle to protect Marcus Mariota makes the most sense for Tennessee.
Miller had the Titans taking Jordan Jenkins, LB, UGA. Here is what the CBS Draft people had to say about Jenkins:
Jenkins, who proudly wears the captain "C" on his jersey, stands up on both sides of the line of scrimmage in the Bulldogs' versatile 3-4 scheme, often putting his hand on the ground as a defensive end in four-man fronts. He is heavy-handed to extend and the point of attack and set a hard edge, seeing through blockers to track the ball and make plays.
In the third round Miller gave the Titans Devontae Booker, RB, Utah. Booker had 1,261 yards on 268 carries in 2015.
