Wow. There aren't enough words to describe yesterday's performance by Marcus Mariota, who ensured that we would snap the losing streak and the fourth quarter choking that had plagued the team for the past couple seasons. It was not just Marcus though, as the whole team pitched in for the victory. The defense was not good, but it made some timely stops.
Jason Wolf, as always give grades that were well deserved. My only gripe would be that the passing offense deserved an A- or solid A, but I won't complain about that too much.
Marcus hopes that they can build on the win on offense and as a team win. I hope the defense can get things sorted out because if the offense plays like it did today with more consistency, there will be a lot more W's along the way.
Dorial Green-Beckham had already been labeled as a bust by many in this fan base, but he showed out on Sunday. He had a early drop leading to an INT but then turned it on, becoming Marcus' favorite receiver for the game. Obviously he needs to do this on a consistent basis, but nonetheless it was great to see him be great.
