Titans to divide carries between Antonio Andrews and David Cobb

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

The Titans have about 20 different needs for the 2016 NFL Draft.  Mike Mularkey said today that it is time they find out if they can cross running back off that list.  That means more carries for David Cobb on Sunday.  It is time to find out if he can carry the load.

Look, Antonio Andrews is a nice player but he isn't anything special.  Is David Cobb?  We don't know yet because he hasn't been on the field much.  That is apparently going to change on Sunday.

The interesting thing here is that there is no mention of Bishop Sankey.  He is apparently completely out of the mix.   That's another second round home run from Ruston Webster.

So far on the season Andrews has rushed for 408 yards on 110 attempts.  Sankey has 166 yards on 41 carries.  Cobb has 5 yards on 7 carries.  The quick math there tells you that Sankey leads the team in yards per carry, but that is like being the smartest kid in summer school....not that big of an accomplishment.
