Paul Kuharsky just dropped a very interesting nugget- Ruston Webster has an expiring contract. That means that Amy Adams Strunk won't even have to fire him after the season. She will just have to announce that he will not be back with the team.
Of course there is the possibility that they could re-sign him, but that would make me so angry that I won't spend any more time talking about it.
Interim president, Steve Underwood, said that Webster had the ownership's group full support back in November when they fired Ken Whisenhunt, but as PK says in his article, it was very telling that he wasn't a part of Mike Mularkey's introductory press conference.
The team is 18-45 in Ruston's tenure. That the second worst record of any team in the NFL according to Kuharsky. Hopefully the team- Adams Strunk, Underwood, whoever- has already started doing the legwork on potential GM hires.
