Rand Getlin of the NFL Network is reporting that Marcus Mariota suffered a knee sprain yesterday and is expected to miss the rest of the season:
I'm told #Titans QB Marcus Mariota suffered a sprained MCL yesterday and isn't expected to play again this season.

It is going to be tough to watch these last two games. The only thing worth watching for most of the season was Marcus Mariota. He had a special rookie season. I cannot wait to see what he can do when he actually has some talent around him.
If the report is true, Zach Mettenberger now gets a chance to showcase his skills. He played pretty well yesterday while wearing the Dan Marino facemask. This is his time to prove that he can be a starting quarterback in the NFL.
The Titans will now need to add another quarterback to the 53-man roster. Cutting Charlie Whitehurst might not have been the best idea looking back on it now.
