Titans claim former Patriots WR Damaris Johnson off waivers

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

This from Adam Caplan at ESPN:

There is no doubt in my mind that the Titans did this in order to steal the Patriots secrets.  Before this move I thought the Titans were going to lose by a lot to the Patriots, now I think they are going to win this game and keep the Patriots from scoring. #sarcasm

Johnson joined the Patriots back on December 1st.  He was with the team for 2 weeks- was active in one game and inactive in the other.  Johnson signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent after the 2012 draft.  He spent two seasons with the Eagles and one with the Texans.  He has 52 catches for 602 yards and 1 touchdown in his career.

The Titans officially placed Derrick Morgan on IR to make room on the roster for Johnson.
