Titans vs. Patriots: What are the odds?

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

The Titans are an early 13.5 underdog in Foxboro on Sunday against the Patriots.  That number is probably low.  You don't see many spreads that high in the NFL.  The only way the Patriots don't cover is if they decide to call the dogs off, and that's not really Bill Belichick's style.  This will be a name your number game for Tom Brady and the Patriots.

The offense should have more success in this one than they did against the Jets because the Patriots defense isn't as good.  However, Belichick is known for taking away a team's number one option.  For the Titans that is absolutely Delanie Walker.  That means the receivers will have to make some plays on the outside.  Anyone feel good about that?

While I don't expect this game to be as bad as the 59-0 massacre, it isn't going to be pretty.  I just hope the offense can put enough points on the board to keep the game interesting for a while.
