Ken Whisenhunt is a terrible NFL head coach. He was 3-20 in his time with the Titans and 1-18 in games where he didn't have a whole offseason to compare. Whiz repeatedly left guys like Will Svitek and Jeremiah Poutasi to try and block JJ Watt with no help. That repeatedly got his quarterbacks hit and injured. That alone was enough to get him fired.
Well Peter King is upset that the Titans parted ways with The Whiz. Here are some of his tweets from today:
Sure glad ownership in Tennessee gave Whisenhunt less than half a season with his new franchise quarterback to turn it around. Seems fair.

Ownership allowed Whisenhunt/Webster to pick franchise quarterback. Fired Whisenhunt after 5 Mariota starts. I mean, who does that?

Whiz1: The point on Whisenhunt is simple. Team told him to find a QB he+Webster loved. Found Mariota. Loved him. Got 5 starts to coach him.

Whiz2: Was the team bad? Performing poorly? Yes, yes. But the guy you paid to find and train a QB was given 5 games to do so.

Whiz3: Jimmy Johnson’s 1st 26 games in Dallas: Cowboys 4-22. Not comparing Whiz to Johnson. But when you’re all new, smart to give it time.

And my personal favorite:
Blah blah blah. https://t.co/7BQsoQMT2z

Blah, blah, blah is the type of response you give when you know you are wrong. Well played, Peter.
