The Tennessee Titans face the Oakland Raiders at home today, and one of their longest tenured, best preforming players is a scratch today with a shoulder injury.

So, this isn't great for the Titans but at this point Morgan's long-term health far outweighs any benefit he could have had today. He is a key piece of this defense for the next four years and the Titans need to keep him healthy. David Bass starts in his place, and will get a similar workload to what the did against the Jaguars. The Titans defense didn't stumble in that game without Morgan (who only played 17 snaps) so they should be alright in this spot too.
Sammie Hill and Quintin Spain get starts, meanwhile Poutasi is a healthy scratch and the Titans choose to leave Riggs inactive. I hate that for Poutasi, but you can only have so many guards active in one day. Likewise, I hate that Riggs won't play because I think he has been one of the most consistent cornerbacks on the team this year.
Perrish Cox and Kendall Wright should both be at full go today, so that is something to keep an eye on.

The Raiders will be missing their starting center which is pretty huge when you have to play this defense. The Raiders better hope that the communication doesn't suffer, because if it does Dick LeBeau will make them pay.
