Titans register season low in offensive snaps and time of possession vs. Panthers

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

This from John Glennon:

I would argue the defense actually played really well yesterday despite giving up 27 points.  They were on the field the entire day.  They sacked Cam Newton a season-high 5 times.

Last week we were really excited because the offense looked so good.  Any offense is going to look good when going up against the Saints defense (who have reportedly fired their defensive coordinator Rob Ryan this morning).  The Titans still have a long way to go on offense before they are ready to put up points against a defense like the Panthers.

The good news here is that the Titans have their quarterback.  Now they just need to build around him.  That means they have to nail the 2016 draft.  It might be a good idea to get someone who knows what they are doing to call the shots in that draft.
