Adam Schefter reported earlier today that the Indianapolis Colts claimed Charlie Whitehurst on waivers:
Colts claimed former Titans QB Charlie Whitehurst on waivers, per league source.
OH NO! HE'S GOING TO GIVE THEM ALL OF THE TITANS SECRETS!!!1 I haven't seen that reaction anywhere yet, but I am sure someone had it. Whitehurst makes a lot of sense for the Colts. He is a veteran that won't need much time to get up to speed on a new offense, and he is familiar with the Falcons and Buccaneerss- the Colts next two opponents. He already prepped for both of those teams with the Titans.
It makes me a little bit mad that he is going to the Colts. Not because it hurts the Titans directly, but from a preparation standpoint, he will actually be valuable to the Colts. I hate anything that is valuable to the Colts.
