Tennessee Titans vs Houston Texans inactives

Who will make it on the field.

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The Tennessee Titans have a big matchup against the Houston Texans that really could decide who is the other competitor for the AFC South title. Here are the people who won't make that game.

Tennessee Titans

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Titans?src=hash">#Titans</a> inactives: QB Mariota, CB Cox, RB West, G Spain, WR Douglas, DE Pitoitua, DT Martin <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/TENvsHOU?src=hash">#TENvsHOU</a> <a href="https://t.co/BEtGtqsTdQ">pic.twitter.com/BEtGtqsTdQ</a></p>&mdash; Tennessee Titans (@Titans) <a href="https://twitter.com/Titans/status/660856346737266688">November 1, 2015</a></blockquote>

-Marcus Mariota is a great young quarterback, and keeping him out for health reasons makes sense on the road and after not practicing fully all week.

-Perrish Cox is a big issue because the Titans are thin at that spot, but Cody Riggs played well last week. Could this be his time to take over the 3rd CB job?

-Harry Douglas is out, and if Mariota was in that could be an issue. However, Mett and Douglas have never been on the same field together so I doubt this has a real impact.

-Other than that the other real note is that the Titans will have Sammie Lee Hill for the first time this year. For what it is worth I thought he was the team's second best defensive linemen last year (Derrick Morgan is a linebacker) and he should improve the running defense.

Houston Texans

-Shorts and Jackson are both average/above average starers. Rahim Moore has shown some flashes, and so has rookie Bernardrick McKinney, both of which are out today.
