Ken Whisenhunt held his weekly press conference today, and he said that the Titans plan on getting Marcus Mariota on the field tomorrow to test his knee. That will help them determine if he will be able to practice this week. He needs to practice in order to play, so hopefully things will go well.
Zach Mettenberger was underwhelming in his relief effort of Mariota. There has been a lot of clamoring for Mett at different times since he was drafted, but he didn't do anything yesterday that would spark a quarterback controversy. That's not the worst thing in the world for this franchise.
The Titans aren't going anywhere this season. The only thing that matters at this point is Mariota's development. Hopefully they will be able to get him on field, and hopefully they will be able to protect him when he gets back out there. I have my doubts about the latter.
