Fantasy Football Start 'em, Sit 'em Week 7 Titans vs. Falcons

When this game opened in Vegas the Falcons were just a 3.5 point favorite.  The line now sits at Falcons -7.  That is more in line with what I had expected from the beginning.

What does that mean for fantasy purposes?  Well, if you trust the odds, it means the Falcons should be playing with the lead (a 7 spread is huge in the NFL).  That means you are going to want to have shares of Devonta Freeman in your lineup.  He is $8,700 on FanDuel this week.  That is the 3rd most expensive running back, but he will probably be worth the investment.  I would use him in cash and tournament games.

You are also going to want to own Julio Jones.  He is $9,100, second only to DeAndre Hopkins among receivers.  Julio has been a little disappointing the last couple of weeks while he was slowed by a hamstring injury.  He didn't show up on the injury report at all this week after having 10 to recover from his last game.  Roster him in any format.

As for the Titans, Dorial Green-Beckham makes for a really interesting tournament play this week.  DGB is only $5,100.  Harry Douglas is out.  Hopefully Green-Beckham will get his snaps. Zach Mettenberger loves to throw the ball down the field.  DGB will have a few chances to make some big plays.

If you are feeling lucky, you could do a Mettenberger-DGB stack.  That will either help you win the tournament.....or lose all of your money.

Delanie Walker also makes for a solid play.  He is only $5,500 and should see 6-8 targets.  The Titans will probably be throwing a lot in this one, and Walker is the safest play on the Titans offense.

I would sit the rest of the Titans offense.  You have no idea which running back is going to get the most chances and odds are none of them will be successful.  Kendall Wright usually makes for a decent play, but I don't like him as much with Mett.  The upside just isn't as high, and he isn't safe enough for cash games.
