This is really good news for the Titans, if true. LeBeau would be an excellent addition to any staff. He would be an extra-excellent edition to this staff- who appeared clueless for most of the season last year.
LeBeau was the Steelers defensive coordinator from 1995-1996 and 2004-2014. He is the mastermind behind the 3-4 defense and was the architect of some of the most feared defenses in NFL history.
LeBeau is familiar with both Ken Whisenhunt and Ray Horton. Do you remember how much better the Titans defense was when Mike Munchak hired Gregg Williams to help with the defense led by Jerry Gray? This could be a similar situation.
This staff is in no position to turn down anyone who has actually been successful as a football coach in the NFL. It might be a good idea for Whiz to read the Senior Bowl right now and go to LeBeau's house and beg him to join this staff.
