Senior Bowl 2015: Todd McShay's Top Prospects

Todd McShay has his pre-Senior Bowl post out today (In$ider) with some interesting notes.  He lists T.J. Clemmings, OT, Pittsburgh, who Dan mocked to the Titans as part of a trade down scenario earlier this week, as one of the guys who has the most to gain this week.  Here is what McShay had to say:

Clemmings has prototypical size for the tackle position with long arms and a solid base, and he's an easy mover for his size who is athletic enough to develop into a starting left tackle in the NFL. A strong showing versus top pass-rushers like Nate Orchard and Hau-oli Kikaha in practice this week could earn Clemmings a spot in the top 15 picks in the draft.

Clemmings sounds like a bit of a project at the NFL level.  That is not something the Titans should be looking for in the first round of this draft.

He also listed Bryce Petty, QB, Baylor as someone who has a lot to gain. Petty looks like an NFL QB, but he will have to show that he can run an NFL offense this week after not having a playbook during his time at Baylor.

Here is McShay's top 10:

1. Danny Shelton, DT, Washington
2. T.J. Clemmings, OT, Pittsburgh
3. Devin Smith, WR, Ohio State
4. Trey Flowers, DE, Arkansas
5. Denzel Perryman, ILB, Miami (FL)
6. Preston Smith, DE, Mississippi State
7. Sammie Coates, WR, Auburn
8. Daryl Williams, OT, Oklahoma
9. Owamagbe Odighizuwa, DE, UCLA
10. Ameer Abdullah, RB, Nebraska
