It is beyond me why anyone would want to interview any coach on this staff, but apparently the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wanted to interview Mike Mularkey for their vacant offensive coordinator job.  That request was denied.  That is probably a good thing for the Bucs.

That is probably a little bit harsh.  Mularkey has had a couple of good stints as an offensive coordinator with the Steelers in the early 2000s and the Falcons from 2008-2012.  He has just been a terrible head coach.

Come to think of it, why isn't Mularkey the Titans offensive coordinator?  You could argue that he has had more success as a playcaller than the head coach, who calls the plays, and the offensive coordinator, Jason Michael.  But hey, who am I to question The Whiz, offensive guru?
