NFL Mock Draft 2015: Tennessee Titans Trade Down

What happens if the Titans are able to trade down in the 2015 NFL Draft?

Joshua S. Kelly-USA TODAY Sports

There are a lot of scenarios to kick around when it comes to the 2015 NFL Draft and the Tennessee Titans.  Everyone wants them to trade down.  That is a pretty good plan, but they need someone that wants their pick and someone that is willing to give them good value.

The Cleveland Browns are the only team that has 2 first round picks in this draft.  In today's new mock draft from Dan Kadar, he has the Titans trading with the Browns.  The Titans give the Browns the 2nd pick for picks #12 and 19 in the first round (there would have to be other picks involved in real life).  Kadar has the Titans taking Vic Beasley, DE, Clemson at 12 and T.J. Clemmings, OT, Pitt at 19.  Here is what he had to say about the Beasley pick:

The first of Tennessee's two first-round picks lands them a top pass rusher who can line up at outside linebacker. Beasley may be light, but his first step is incredible. Defensive coordinator Ray Horton would work wonders with a player like Beasley.

And here is his commentary on Clemmings:

The Titans could continue to add pieces along the offensive line targeting a right tackle like Clemmings. Yes, getting a quarterback in the first round is more fun. But we're going with the assumption the Titans want to roll with Mettenberger.

I am not a fan of them going with a tackle here with guys like Marcus Peters and Landon Collins still on the board. It shouldn't be that hard to find a right tackle later in the draft, while Peters and Collins are both special talents that could come in and help the defense-which needs A LOT of help- right away.

What do you think about Dan's latest mock?
