Matt Williamson and Paul Kuharsky talk about whether or not the Titans should go after DeMarco Murray. Jommy talked about this in a post yesterday. My opinion is that they should not because of the tremendous amount of work he had this year and if you take a look at the linked article in Kuharsky's piece, you'll see that after 370 carries, production dips the next year. The other problem I have is that he will be making a lot of money in a system that will be RBBC, not that RBBC is a bad thing. Look at the Bengals with Gio Bernard and Jeremy Hill, they have a RBBC, and it works great. So, instead of paying loads of money for a RB with a lot of tread on his tires, I think the Titans should draft someone (and I don't care if it is even in the 2nd round or 3rd), to pair with Sankey.
The Titans reached an agreement with Jacoby Ford on a futures contract.
Ken Whisenhunt will not have any changes to his staff. I think this is ridiculous, as Mike Mularkey and Bob Bostad were the only two coaches that had any improvement on their positions. I think Shawn Jefferson should go, his rah-rah attitude is great and all that, but none of our receivers have gotten any better.
