Today was a bitter pill to swallow, despite basking in the good feelings of a season opening win. Zach Brown will reportedly be lost for the season to a Pectoral tear, which puts the interior Titans linebacker corps on thin ice. Zaviar Gooden will need to play well in Brown's stead.
Now to tonight. The first game in the double-header has the New York Giants taking on the Detroit Lions. The Giants had some serious pre-season struggles they are looking to overcome, and they will come into conflict with the Lions, who have a stacked receiving corps for Matthew Stafford to throw to this season. I will take the Lions in this one.
This is followed by San Diego Chargers at the Arizona Cardinals. The Chargers will aim to continue their prolific offensive ways (sans Whisenhunt) against a talented Arizona defense. Arizona is no slouch offensively either, but I'll take Phillip Rivers (as much as I hate it) over Carson Palmer.
Who have you got taking home the wins tonight?
