The Titans have 5 former Chiefs on the roster

The Tennessee Titans have a lot of former Kansas City Chiefs on their roster.

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

The Tennessee Titans apparently like players that have played for the Kansas City Chiefs.  They have 5 of them currently on the roster, including one, Ryan Succop, who was a Chief just a few days ago.  Let's take a closer look at those players.

Dexter McCluster

McCluster was with the Chiefs last year.  He had 53 catches and 511 yards last year.  He really shined as a punt returner.  McCluster took 2 punts to the house last year and averaged almost 12 yards per return.

Bernard Pollard

Pollard was drafted by Kansas City in the second round in 2006.  He spent the first 3 years of his career there and had 3 interceptions during that time.

Ropati Pitoitua

Pitoitua was with the Chiefs in 2012.  He had 2 sacks and 1 forced fumble that season.

Ryan Succop

As mentioned above, Succop was with the Chiefs just a few days ago.  He was drafted by KC in the 7th round in 2009.  Last season he was 22 for 28 on field goal attempts.  He also had a 1 punt in both 2010 and 2013.

Jackie Battle

Battle was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Chiefs in 2007.  His best year with the Chiefs was in 2011 when he rushed for 597 yards and 2 touchdowns.
