Titans Sign Brad Sorensen to Practice Squad

Jody Gomez-USA TODAY Sports

The Titans have announced this morning that they have signed Brad Sorensen to the practice squad.  Sorensen was a seventh round draft pick of the San Diego Chargers in 2013- when Ken Whisenhunt was their offensive coordinator.  He spent the 2013 season on the Chargers roster.

This move is probably just made to give the Titans another quarterback this week with Jake Locker nursing a wrist injury and Zach Mettenberger missing some time because of a death in his family.  They need someone out there to run the scout team.

Sorensen, who played his college ball at Southern Utah, is the "prototypical Ken Whisenhunt" quarterback at 6-5, 230, and Whiz is a quarterback whisperer (right, Gramsey?), but his time with the Titans will probably be short lived.
