Ken Whisenhunt said today in his press conference that Jake Locker injured his hand in the game yesterday against the Bengals:
Whiz: At the end of the game, Locker could hardly grip the ball. Titans?src=hash">#Titans
Locker had MRI this morning.
Whiz: Won't know about Locker for a day or two. #Titans
Whiz said the injury happened right at the end of the game. He was asked why this wasn't discussed yesterday, and he compared it to going for a run, feeling fine, sitting down for a while, and then getting up and something not feeling right. We will obviously update Locker's status as the week goes along.
If, IF Locker cannot go, who is the quarterback. I would hope that it would be Zach Mettenberger, but Whiz made it very clear at the end of the preseason that Charlie Whitehurst is the #2.
[UPDATE]- And here is your answer:
Whiz: Ready to go with Whitehurst if needed. #Titans
