Tennessee Titans News Links: When it Rains.....

Yesterday we learned about the passing of Rob Bironas, one of my favorite Titans ever. The guy who brought us gunfingers and so much more. Then after that we had to deal the crapfest that was the Titans yesterday, totally outclassed in every phase by the Bengals. So many negatives.

Most Titans played poorly yesterday, but one who played well was Rookie Bishop Sankey. He looked really impressive running the ball, hopefully he can keep it up.

BWW had one of the worst performances from a Titan in recent memory, including letting Andy Freaking Dalton get a TD reception that should have resulted in anything but that.

Jake Locker didn't play well again, and he didn't realize he was doing something wrong when he threw into 5 Cincy defenders across his body into the middle of the field.

Whiz was mad, and he has every right to be, but he also needs to fix some of the problems that keep happening. And he says he will.

David Climer and I are on the same darn page when it comes to Jake Locker. He's got only 1 or 2 weeks more of poor play before I'll start calling for Zach Mettenberger to start. Charlie Whitehurst is not going to solve anything and we need to at least see what we have in Mett before next years draft should this year continue on it's depressing trend.
