There's not much to say after watching the Titans in this one. They were pitiful in all phases of the game, with woeful play from Jake Locker highlighting the afternoon. He was inaccurate on his deep throws, and threw an incredibly ugly interception to end the first half, just when the Titans could have gotten back into it with a late score before the break.
On defense, the Titans were unable to get to Andy Dalton, and failed miserably to cover Mohammed Sanu and AJ Green. It was an ugly day for the guys in the secondary, with Blidi Wreh-Wilson getting the worst of it. He was picked on and penalized all day long. The Titans also made sure to hurt themselves on special teams as well, with two missed field goals, a shanked punt, and a penalty in the endzone resulting in a safety.
If there was a single bright spot, it was the play of a few young players. Avery Williamson looked pretty good in limited snaps at ILB, and Bishop Sankey was unstoppable at times. Too bad the Titans were already too deep in the hole to when he started getting the ball.
The Tennessee Titans are a mess right now, and there's a lot to work on to make sure that the rest of the season doesn't feel like today. Changes could, and should, be coming.
