This week Marshall Faulk asks us who is the one leader that helps the Titans keep their focus in the midst of adversity. I think it is safe to say right now that the Titans are going through adversity. Who has stepped up as a leader?
The answer is Jurrell Casey. The beat writers said on Monday that Casey had his grades from the game posted by his locker with comments like this is not you, and play like you. That is after he recorded 2 sacks in the loss on Sunday.
That is a leader. He knows there are things in his game that he needs to work on. It would be easy for him just to celebrate the things that went right, but instead, he is working on fixing the things that went wrong. I am so glad the Titans stepped up and extended his contract. He is exactly the type of guy that you want to pay.
