Back in 2009, the Jacksonville Jaguars visited LP Field. Neither team was very good that year, but this ended up being a game for the ages. Chris Johnson was in the middle of his 2,000 yard season. In fact, this was the game that actually made 2,000 a realistic possibility.
On the other side you had Maurice Jones-Drew who always tortured the Titans when those two teams met. He would also have a great night- rushing just 8 times for 177 yards. That is an impressive night, but he was eclipsed by CJ.
On that afternoon Johnson carried the ball 24 times for 228 yards. This was the first and only 200 yard game of his career to this point. He had an 89 yard TD run that day as well.
The Titans won the game, but that wasn't the story. The story was the two running backs who combined for 405 yards on just 32 carries. Those backs averaged over 12 yards per carry that night. My guess is we never see that again.
