The Titans headed down to Flowery Branch this afternoon to take on the Falcons for a scrimmage. They did the same thing two years ago and got beaten all over the field. We all excused it with things like vanilla defense at the time, but it proved to be an indication of a defense that was historically bad.
Fortunately, it doesn't sound like that was the case today. The Titans apparently held their own against the Falcons, and it sounds like the offense played well. Justin Hunter and Kendall Wright both had big plays on the day. Hopefully that is an indication of things to come.
Say what you want about Paul Kuharsky, but he has the most thorough recap from today's scrimmage. I love to hear about all of the different looks the defense is showing. They are going to be fun to watch.
Jim Wyatt and John Glennon teamed up for this recap. They have a note in there about the run game looking good. I am excited to see some of the run concepts Saturday night.
