Between The Posts: Falcons Scrimmage

Your nightly OT open thread.

Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

From most accounts it seems like the Titans held their own against the Falcons during their joint practice at Flowery Branch. On offense, in fact, it sounded like the Titans had their number, with long TD's from Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter highlighting the day. Reports were also glowing about Derrick Morgan, Jurrell Casey, and Ropati Pitoitua, who had a great showing against the Falcons offensive line.

Titans safety Bernard Pollard had plenty to say about the event, jawing with Falcons players.

This is a stark contrast to how the Tennessee Titans group has performed against the Falcons in past joint practices, where the team struggled in many areas.

What did you think of the Titans performance this time around? It's certainly getting me more excited for this season, with the Titans appearing more prepared and sharp on the offensive side of the ball.

We'll have a better idea of where the team stands after their first pre-season game next weekend. Welcome back to football Titans fans.
