Jim Wyatt is reporting that the Titans are expected to sign former Kansas City Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop as early as tomorrow. He would obviously replace Travis Coons on the roster who had what looks to be a short-lived victory over Maikon Bonani.

Succop made 22 of his 28 field goal attempts last season with a long of 51. He forced 47 touch backs in 91 kickoffs. So he was better on kickoffs that Rob Bironas was last year but not quite as good on field goals. (I figured I would go ahead and feed that to the Bironas lovers out there).
If he is with the Titans week 1, it will be a big game for him because the Titans take on the Kansas City Chiefs, who cut Succop Saturday, at Arrowhead.
