For the Tennessee Titans final (real) preseason game, there are only five inactives according to the Titans twitter account.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Titans?src=hash">#Titans</a> scratches: LB C. McCarthy, C C. Spencer, C G. Ikard, DL A. Johnson, DL M. So that is:
- Colin McCarthy LB (likely to IR)
-Chris Spencer C
-Gabe Ikard C (to IR on Tuesday)
-Antonio Johnson DT
-Mike Martin DT
What does this mean for the Titans: Well, there will definitely be a deficit at center with Ikard and Spencer out, and that will be a situation to watch. Other than that, Charlie Whitehurst probably won't play tonight with a finger injury, but he is in uniform.
It will be interesting to see how Mettenberger does with the number two unit tonight (he had a great showing last week). With Whitehurst seemingly out, it looks like the Titans will be able to see him in a number of situations with a talented second group of offensive weapons including Bishop Sankey, Taylor Thompson, Chase Coffman, and possibly Justin Hunter depending on how they decide to play him tonight.
