The Titans are gearing up for their Saturday game against the Atlanta Falcons. After two pre-season games, we'll be getting the "dress rehearsal", AKA the closest thing to "real" football we've had in months.
I'm interested to see if the packages are notably different Saturday, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Ray Horton seemed to do a bit of everything against the Saints, including blitzing a good amount, but was unable to get out of the gate quickly. This will be a big test for them when they take the field for the opening defensive series.
On the other side of the ball, Taylor Thompson has been looking pretty comfortable out there. Maybe this season the Titans will have a tight end who catches passes not named Delanie Walker. Thompson looks the part so far, leading the team in receptions in the preseason and looking accomplished both blocking and running patterns.
What's surprised you most so far this preseason? And what are you looking for most on Saturday?
