I have been telling you that Kendall Wright is going to be a fantasy football asset this year, but I am far from a fantasy football guru. Mike Clay, who is a fantasy football guru, posted these tweets earlier today:
In the 6 games Jake Locker played >75% of the Titans snaps last year, Kendall Wright averaged 26% of the team targets, 7.5/game.

Wright has 3 TDs on 98 career targets from Jake Locker. He caught 1 TD on 90 targets from Ryan Fitzpatrick last year. #titans

Shocked folks don't see a higher ceiling from Wright. I don't get it at all. Literally faulting him for the way the old regime used him.

And I realize sometimes you force coaches to use you a certain way based on your limiations, but that's not Kendall Wright

Entering the league 2 years ago, we thought he'd be a guy who did damage downfield. Hasnt had that chance yet.

And, with the new regime 'no TDs' and 'no deep routes' doesn't fly with me. I fully expect a boost. Whiz LOVES his slot receivers.

Some examples: Whiz's Cardinals slot WR? Anquan Boldin. His SD slot WR last year? Eddie Royal (8 TDs)

I haven't gone back to look at where Wright has lined up in the preseason, but I wonder how much he will be used in the slot vs. outside. Either way, Wright is going to have a very big year. Draft him early (unless you are in a league with me).
