Tim Shaw has been diagnosed with ALS, a neurodegenerative disease that effects the brain and spinal cord's nerves. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family as he fights this and I encourage all of you to help raise awareness about this disease and donate if you can to an ALS charity to fund research to stop this disease.

Matt Hasselbeck tweeted out a classy tweet about Tim, and I know that many appreciate his contributions to the Titans as he was special teams captain for a number of years.

The NFL practice squad expands from 8 to 10 players, so take that for what its worth.
