Four Tennessee Titans players who need to prove it-offensive edition

The Titans have a lot of players who need to "prove it' entering the 2014 season.

Jake Locker. He is the most obvious person on this list. Locker is playing out the last year of his rookie deal, and has yet to prove that he has what it takes to be a franchise quarterback. That all starts with staying healthy. Hopefully he will be able to do that this year.

Shonn Greene. The Titans are paying Greene too much money for the production they got out of him last year. Some of that had to do with a knee injury he suffered early last season that never got back to 100%. He is going to be a big part of the gameplan on the ground this season.

Taylor Thompson. We all knew that Thompson was a project when the Titans drafted him in the 5th round of the 2012 draft. He has now been in the league for three seasons and hasn't contributed. 2014 might be his last chance.

Marc Mariani. Mariani has been productive as a returner, but the Titans have Leon Washington now. Mariani needs to prove his worth as a receiver. The 4th wide receiver spot is up for grabs on this team. Can Mariani claim it?
