Between The Posts: Question Of The Day

With the Titans now knee-deep in training camp, there have been a lot of new reports and takes on who plays where on this new look Titans roster. The biggest position battle, most likely, on defense, is the one going on outside the hashes. Blidi Wreh-Wilson and Coty Sensabaugh have been played well on the outside, fighting for that 2nd CB spot.

I like both guys at this point, but consensus on MCM seems to be that Coty should stick to the slot where he's had success. As for me, I want the better player to be on the field more often, regardless of whether that guy is good in the nicke;/slot or not. The Titans can always have Coty on the outside, and bump him to Nickel in spread sets much like they did with Finnegan a long time ago. That worked then, why not now?
