Here is a roundup of stories from today's Tennessee Titans first practice in full pads:
- Joe Fann of Titans Online mentions that Shonn Greene got his heaviest workload of this young camp today. He also mentioned that Greene still needs to lose 5 to 10 pounds to get in shape.
Greene was a big disappointment last year. The Titans gave him a lot of money during free agency last year. Hopefully he can give them some return this year.
-John Glennon mentions that Coty Sensabaugh had a good day working opposite Jason McCourty today.
All of the reports on the Sensabaugh vs. Blidi Wreh-Wilson battle have been really good so far. I cannot wait to see what those guys do in preseason games.
Paul Kuharsky mentioned on the radio today that Dexter McCluster didn't look as impressive today with the pads on.
There had been a lot of buzz about how quick McCluster looked the first two days. It is not surprising that he didn't look as good with the pads on, but that shouldn't slow down the excitement for what he will do in this offense. He wasn't brought in to carry the ball 20 times a game.
Glennon also mentioned that Sankey looked good today. That is good to hear because he will be carrying the ball 20 times a game.
